I've seen enough freaky stuff to beleive in some things.
IMO Synchronicity is the most obvious phenomena. My wife never knew it existed until she met me....then she saw the most bizzare coincidences happen to me all the time...always leading to something interesting.
I've seen so many signs and coincidences to beleive we are just on a pre-ordained path in life.

...in any case, I have a hard time with the "preordained path" or "destiny" thing. What about free will? It all seems pretty pointless if we can't change the general direction we are headed for, anyway.
I do, however, believe that life and its events are cyclical in nature...
i believe somewhat in destiny but i strongly believe that we can change things down the line, free will will always over ride destiny in my eyes

I strongly recommend reading "The Tao of Poo" by Benjamin Hoff. It explains how going against the grain can end up more trouble than it's worth. "Go around the rock, no through it."
There's the parable of the old man who fell into the violen river rapids and came out unharmed because he rolled with the waves not against them.
We are all on an individual path but not with the same final outcome...but the same general direction of fate.
I wonder why people like Chaserfan have such awful luck, when he doesn't seem to deserve it...
personally I am like Seinfeld on the "Even Steven" episode. I always seem to break even no matter the situation....odd.

I believe many more people have them, than there are people willing to admit that the possibility exists. I have to believe only by personal history. I've had a few experiences that

(MM4 your's is interesting, my late brother would often think of a show or a piece of music and find that it was on, or would be on within a day or so. He chalked it up to the fact the we are 'electrical beings' and may here and there pick up some station's frequency.) Sounds good to me. As far as my own. I've had two or three real times that I cannot explain away with scientific theory. Do I believe I can lay my hands on somebody and tell them the next time they're going to break wind? No.
But it's well know that we as humans only use a small capacity of our brains. Maybe we who've had these experiences have somehow tapped into some of that. In my own case I've had a couple dreams come true to the letter ..one in particular was from my childhood, and it came true in adulthood. And I have no idea how I could have had the dream as a child since some very specific aspects of that dream had NOT been invented when I was a child
But, I also believe that, as with spirituality. there is truth, but there is a great golden field of open space for the charlatans to play.
